About
Welcome to Angry Crab Shack - Yuma, a unique culinary gem nestled in the heart of Yuma, Arizona. Located at 1530 S Castle Dome Ave, this vibrant eatery is renowned for its lively atmosphere and exceptional seafood offerings. Whether you're a local or just passing through, it's a destination worth adding to your list.
The moment you step through the door, you're greeted by a playful ambiance filled with quirky graffiti adorning the walls and benches, creating an inviting space that feels both nostalgic and energizing. It's no wonder that patrons like Marie Mulligan rave about the "entertainment times 10" aspect of their dining experience. Beyond the decor, the service here is consistently praised as prompt and attentive, an essential ingredient in any great dining experience.
At Angry Crab Shack, the menu is a delightful treasure trove of seafood. Signature dishes like the king crab legs and delectable seafood boil bags shine brightly among the offerings. For those who enjoy a bit of heat, the spice levels can be adjusted to satisfy your taste buds, as noted by Mark Hill during his visit. My personal favorite is the shrimp and grits, where creamy grits meet perfectly seasoned shrimp, all bathed in a rich, buttery sauce. It's dishes like these that leave a lasting impression, urging you to return for more.
For those looking to pair their meal with a drink, Angry Crab Shack offers a variety of options including mocktails like the refreshing NOJITO and the tropical TROPICAL TWIST. If you're in the mood for something classic, their beer selection includes popular favorites like Modelo and Pacifico, perfect companions for any seafood dish.
Don’t just take my word for it; diners like Nisa Sutton and Ericka Elias highlight the quality of food and delightful service they received. The crispy fish and chips and the exciting combination appetizers are fan favorites worth trying. It's this consistency in deliciousness and hospitality that keeps patrons coming back, time and again.
In a nutshell, Angry Crab Shack - Yuma is more than just a restaurant; it’s an experience. “ The service was amazing! I loved the funny graffiti all over the benches and walls! Entertainment times 10! The service was spot on! And prompt! Food came quock! And was awesome! Had the king crab legs, corn on the cob! Super yummy! And a hurricane! Cute waitress! Will return! ”
“ The place is great! Our server Jason was fantastic and very attentive. The food was fantastic and hit the spot. Wait was not bad at all. I would highly recommend stopping by. ”
“ First time at Angry Crab Shack and had a pleasant experience. We showed up with a very large group comprised of five families and they had no problem accommodating us on a Saturday evening. They gave us no problem about splitting the check five ways which I know is not easy for a server to deal with, but she handled it great. I got a seafood boil bag with their signature spices at a spice level 2 which is "medium". I like spicy food and medium was just right for me as it was a bit spicier than I anticipated but right where I wanted it. The food was great. They were a bit slow getting drink refills to us; but it's hard to fault them with a group our size. We don't have an Angry Crab Shack near where I live, which is very disappointing, because I would definitely head back without hesitation. ”
“ The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Hospitality was excellent. Food was delicious, tasty, and the meal was served in a timely manner. The seafood cocktail sauce had a nice horseradish flavor. My husband had the Fish & Chips, Crispy batter on all ( 3 ) large sized pieces of fish. Hot, fresh, not greasy...well seasoned fries, also crispy and not greasy. Combination appetizers, Fried clam strips, mild chicken wings, and small fried shrimp. Excellent, I've been wanting to try shrimp and Grits, Well, it's on the menu!!!! I high recommend this tasty bowl of smooth creamy Grits topped with shrimp and a mild red buttery sauce. DELICIOUS ”
“ The food is super good. The bread you soak in the juice is so good this is my favorite part. The wings and chicken sandwich are super delicious. The desserts are amazingly delicious that makes you want more. The service provided by out waiteres was super great that we will definitely be coming back more often because our service and food were perfect. ”
“ This spot did not disappoint! We started with onion rings and angry edename as appetizers, both were delicious. I ordered the crab and shrimp boil with potatoes and corn. The seasoning was perfect and the seafood was steamed well. My husband had the fish basket with red beans and rice and fries. He said the fish and fries were very crispy and well seasoned. The red beans and rice were very bland. The service was great and the prices were reasonable. The place was pretty empty, maybe 4-5 tables with customers. The atmosphere was cool and relaxing, very different with all the graffiti everywhere. Plenty of parking, we got a room nextdoor which was very convenient and we also got 10% off because we stayed in the hotel nextdoor. We will definitely return! ”
“ We went during Mother's Day, and it was PACKED! We still received good customer service. Our server Lena would make time to attend us even if she was up and down. She made a really good impression because I remember her name very friendly and the food was very delicious! This was our second time there. Our first time was during a week day and was a lot more calm, and the servers were very attentive. 10/10 recommend! ”
“ My wife and I made our first visit to the Angry Crab Shack and, overall, we were quite pleased. I am gluten free so I didn't have a lot of choices, nor did I expect to have. I got the Red Beans and Rice. The serving size was HUGE and the flavor was excellent, although I was it had been spicier. I also got lemon pepper fries which were very good. My wife got a shrimp po-boy and really liked it. She had to take some shrimp out in order to eat it. There was plenty of parking and it's easy to find. The decor is meh and quite a few of the chair had torn covers. Allowing people to draw on the walls is interesting and I'm sure some folks have a good time but it really cheapened the general look of the restaurant. The service was good, though not speedy. Give it a go. You'll be glad you did. ”
